The McDonnell Academy was founded in 2005 and operates with funds from its endowment, corporate and ministry sponsorships from around the world, and other generous benefactors (see: https://global.wustl.edu/mcdonnell-academy/sponsors/). The Academy covers all tuition and stipend support for Academy Scholars to complete a graduate or
professional degree at Washington University.
McDonnell Academy Scholars are recruited with outstanding academic records and must be admitted to a PhD or professional degree program at Washington University. They come from the Academy’s 33 Partner Universities and are selected based on their promise to become future leaders in government, academia, the professions or in business.
The McDonnell International Scholars Academy is more committed than ever to finding ways to collaborate with many partners in preparing the next generation of leaders to address the global challenges. They look forward to receiving applications from prospective students who are graduates of the partner institutions of the Academy, including National Chiao Tung University. Students who are interested in applying for the master or doctoral degree program at Washington Unversity might have the chance to gain Sholarships from McDonnell International Academy.
